Our Story
Pressure580 started in 2015 with a small group of dedicated practitioners training in a converted garage. Jeff and Ashley Crabtree had a simple vision: build an academy where technical excellence and mutual respect come before ego.
What began as a handful of students has grown into a thriving academy with over 500 members, a nationally ranked competition team, and one of the most respected kids programs in the region.
The name says it all — consistent pressure, applied with purpose, creates results. That philosophy drives everything we do on and off the mat.
What Drives Us
We believe in mastering the details. Our structured curriculum ensures every student progresses with a deep understanding of positions, transitions, and submissions.
No egos allowed. Every training partner is treated with respect regardless of rank. We leave our problems at the door and lift each other up on the mat.
Jiu Jitsu is a lifelong journey. We foster a mindset of continuous improvement — always learning, always evolving, always applying pressure.
